Daniel Wayne Rinehart passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 26, 2019.  He was 70 years of age at the time of his passing. Dan was born in Smithville, Texas on October 26, 1948 to parents Wilson Antone Rinehart and Aileen (Bunte) Rinehart. Dan and his wife Jan (Hoffman) Rinehart are residents of Smithville, Texas where they raised their two children; Lisa and Dean.  

Dan is preceded in death by his father, Wilson Antone "Tony" Rinehart, mother, Aileen Anne Bunte Rinehart grandson, Logan Bryan Rinehart Rogers and nephew, Brandon Claude Hoffman.

Dan is survived by is wife, Jan (Hoffman) Rinehart; Daughter, Lisa Rinehart; Son, Dean Rinehart and wife Kay Masters-Rinehart, along with several very special grandchildren, Brett (Alexis), Noah, Kaydee and Ivey, and great-grandchildren Paisyn and Kyra. Sisters, Toni Ann Kadlecek (David) and Janet Hestand (Howard), sister-in-law Shirley Quincy (Roger) and brother-in-law Claude Hoffman (Laurie) and special companions, Bruno, Leo and Aggie Girl.  Also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

The Rinehart Family will be holding a Memorial Service for Dan at the VFW Post 1309, Smithville,Texas on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 11:00am - 2:00pm with a time designated for a Eulogy and scripture / prayer service at 11:30am.  

As a United States Army Veteran, The Bastrop County Honor Guard will perform Military Honors shortly after the Eulogy at approximately Noon.
